Thank you for your patience. This has been quite a year for U-Con. In 2011 we successfully held a convention in a new location. Our attendees loved the convention space and having the convention at a hotel. Earlier this year, we shed the old student organization and formed a non-profit corporation to run the convention. Now we officially have our conference center and hotel for U-Con 2012, and we think you’re going to love it.

Marriott Ann Arbor Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest
October 26-28, 2012
Eagle Crest is a fantastic convention center just off of I-94 at Exit 183 in Ypsilanti. We will have a much larger space than we enjoyed in 2011. There will be plenty of room for board games, miniatures, card games, roleplaying games, special events, and exhibitors. Operations hours will be 12pm on Friday through 6pm on Sunday (including late night events). We’re stretching a little bit to hold U-Con at this excellent space, but we think it’s an investment in U-Con’s future, and we hope you’ll agree.
We love FREE PARKING and we know you do, too. Marriott Eagle Crest has a vast parking lot adjacent to the convention center.
We will be able to offer rooms onsite at the adjoining Marriott Eagle Crest hotel. Rooms will be $79 per night plus tax. We will provide details on how to make a reservation under our room block as preregistration approaches.
There are many details that we’ll cover later. For the moment, though, please note these important dates.

- Event Submission (Con Book Deadline): Oct 5
- Preregistration closes: Oct 12
Gamemasters and would-be Gamemasters, please submit your events now so we can get them scheduled as soon as possible. We need your events as soon as possible in order to schedule them into your desired slots.
Thank you to the gamemasters, volunteers, exhibitors, and everyone who has joined us for U-Con over the past 24 years. U-Con would be impossible without the many people who give their time and money to make it happen.
