9697 Cthulhu Wars, GM: Ariel Celeste (ConTessa), 4 players, No XP/Average, Friday 11a-1p. The Old Ones have risen. Monsters walk the Earth. Humanity is finished, but the struggle continues. Which Great Old One will rule the ruins of Earth? Now, you take charge! Cthulhu Wars is a fast-moving strategy game about the end of the world. You take the part of various monstrous aliens seeking to dominate the world. You can play as Great Cthulhu himself, or you can take charge of other factions, such as the slithering hordes of the Crawling Chaos, or the insane minions of the Yellow Sign. Earn and cast spells and summon monsters unique to your own Faction. Each Faction is strikingly different in tactics and techniques. A strategy that works for the Black Goat will be ineffective for the Crawling Chaos. The game is for 2-4 players, or up to 5 if you use one of the expansions. Each Faction has multiple unique strategies for winning, so Cthulhu Wars has incredible depth and replay value. Cthulhu Wars is a combination of strategic gaming and Lovecraftian horror, with the bonus of high-quality monster figures to make your game even more fun. Sandy Petersen, its creator, is well-known as one of the top game designers in the industry, and this is his best work so far! https://petersengames.com/cthulhu-wars/ General Audience (13+) Conference C Table 2. $2.00

9021 Things from the Flood: Waterfalls, GM: Stacy Dellorfano (ConTessa), 6 players, No XP/Simple, Friday 2p-6p. It's Halloween, 1996. Just a year ago, the nearby volcano erupted, the Loop flooded, and things haven't been the same again. Robots claiming to be 'sentient' walk out of the swamp that was once the country club, people claim to have strange powers, there's rampant unemployment, and all the adults seem apathetic about solving the problems. Determined to give the people of Bellingham a decent Halloween after a year of evacuations and cleanup, the city has allowed a cut-rate carnival staffed by old robots to set up at the usual spot. Some people argue the use of the robots is dangerous, others just want to have some fun. Something mysterious is definitely going on at the carnival, though, and it'll be up to you and your friends to discover the secrets. No experience necessary! Things from the Flood is the darker sequel to Tales from the Loop. The system is quick to teach and easy to learn, and there will be pregenerated characters available with customization options. Adults Only (18+) Conference C Table 1. $4.00

9025 D&D 5e: The Temple of Qauz e Qazah, GM: Mariam Ahmad (ConTessa), 5 players, Some XP/Average, Friday 2p-6p. Inspired by magical super-heroics like Justice League Dark, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Dr. Strange and Constantine, this adventure will explore the shadows of the worlds of super-heroes. Action Heroes is a role-playing game for cinematic action with simple mechanics that will soon be published. Adults Only (18+) Conference C Table 4. $4.00

Wilmore is dead broke, fearful of what is chasing him, but wants to reestablish his old life. What he is not short on are words, plans, and one last trick. If he gets that trick right, it will save his life, career, and future. Harlem is a land of hope, where the written word has the power to change the world. Come be daring, face the dangerous and brush elbows with the famous personalities of Harlem in the 1920's. 9022 Tales from the Loop: Money Changes Everything, GM: Stacy Dellorfano (ConTessa), 6 players, No XP/Simple, Friday 8p-12a. It’s 1987. Aggressive developers have made it impossible for your parents to pay their mortgages. They’re all deeply in debt and close to foreclosure. If that happens, your neighborhood - the one you and your friends are growing up in - will soon be nothing but luxury condominiums, most of which won’t even HAVE kids. Your families will scatter to the winds, and you’ll never see each other again. Unless, that is, you can all find the money necessary for your parents to pay their debts and buy the property outright. Then, all of you could continue your friendship through the rest of middle school on into high school. Luckily, just when things seem the most dire, the Kids stumble upon what appears to be a treasure map deep in the city’s abandoned coal mines. Can a group of middle school kids save the neighborhood?
