5529 Hanabi, GM: Jeannette Quirk, 5 players, Some XP/Simple, Friday 5p-6p. Hanabi - named for the Japanese word for "fireworks" - is a cooperative game in which players try to create the perfect fireworks show by placing the cards on the table in the right order. The card deck consists of five different colors of cards, numbered 15 in each color. For each color, the players try to place a row in the correct order from 15. Sounds easy, right? Well, not quite, as in this game you hold your cards so that they're visible only to other players. To assist other players in playing a card, you must give them hints regarding the numbers or the colors of their cards. Players must act as a team to avoid errors and to finish the fireworks display before they run out of cards. Ballroom Table 222. $1.50

8p

5528 Tsuro, GM: Jeannette Quirk, 8 players, No XP/Simple, Friday 8p-10p. Tsuro is a game wherein you lay tiles down to create paths. The last person to remain on the board wins the game. Ballroom Table 222. $1.50

5542 Ars Magica 4 - Modern: What Magic May Remain, GM: Matthew Quirk, 5 players, No XP/Average, Sunday 2p-6p. Welcome to Paris. The year is 1919. The Order of Hermes has existed for over a thousand years, but now magic itself seems to be in decline. The Great Paris Tribunal is the Order's chance to regroup and plan for an uncertain future, after the most terrible war the world has ever known - new Magi will be introduced, old territories will be divided. Business, scholarship and celebration are all on the agenda. And so is murder. You and your fellow apprentices were to be inducted into the Order, but now everything is on hold. Tensions are running high and all anyone can agree on is that your group may be the only ones who couldn't have committed the murder. So now your job is to solve it. Conference F Table 2. $3.00
