Friday

9a

5431 Dungeon Crawl Classics: Black Sun Deathcrawl by James MacGeorge, GM: Laura Rose Williams, 6 players, No XP/Average, Friday 9a-2p. The apocalypse is not merely nigh, it has passed. The world is over and all that is left are the crumbling ashes of the ages before and the cursed survivors who have yet to succumb to the soul-obliterating rays of the Black Sun. Make what you can of the little time you have left before the Black Sun renders your efforts meaningless. Conference E Table 6. $3.00

10a

5564 Ascension X: War of Shadows, GM: Randolph Williams, 6 players, No XP/Average, Friday 10a-12p. Come enjoy the 10th expansion of Justin Gary's excellent deckbuilding game, Ascension X: War of Shadows. Designed along with Gary Arant, Gary's latest expansion introduces a Day/Night mechanic which is determined by the ever-changing layout of the cards available in the Center Row; it's Daytime if there are more Day cards available, Nighttime if there are more Night, or neither Day nor Night if the distribution is equal. Card abilities found on Heroes, Constructs and Monsters trigger depending on whether it is Day or Night. Perhaps you'd like to purchase a card in the Center Row just to change the state to trigger a nice card that's in your hand! Also introduced in this version is cards with dual costs of both Runes and Power. Now that 4 Runes/1 Power starting hand looks a bit better. The rest of the game mechanics are quite easy to learn, so beginners are welcome! Ballroom Table 413. $1.50

2p

5429 Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC): Elzemon and the Blood-drinking Box, GM: Clayton Williams, 5 players, No XP/Simple, Friday 2p-6p. Your party seeks the favor of a powerful wizard. To do this, they agree to steal an artifact from a rival wizard's sanctum. However, the artifact needs to "feed" in order to keep its contents contained. Can you survive this gamble, come out richer, and keep your sanity? Conference E Table 8. $3.00

3p

5565 T.I.M.E Stories: The Marcy Case, GM: Randolph Williams, 4 players, No XP/Average, Friday 3p-7p. Perhaps you've heard of it: a unique "decksploration" co-operative gaming system with limited-to-nonexistent replayability. Sure you can buy a new module, but what to do with a scenario once you've already played through it? You host an event, that's what; at least that's what I'm doing. So if you've balked at a $65 price tag for "one-time" use game, come experience the adventure without the major investment! I'm choosing to host The Marcy Case, the second module in the series. The base game includes Asylum, so if you enjoy this enough to buy it, you still have a full fresh experience with the base set (and can choose whether or not to purchase the Marcy module). N.T. 1992. A mysterious epidemic strikes a peaceful American city. Save young Marcy. Save the future. Enjoy this acclaimed "decksploration" co-op. Some mature themes and content. No spoilers from me! "We have now mastered time travel, but faults and paradoxes threaten the very fabric of the universe. The T.I.M.E. Agency has been created to prevent their appearance and protect humanity. As temporal agents, you and your team will be sent into different worlds or realities, into the bodies of other beings (or “receptacles”). You will control these receptacles to fulfill the missions given to you. Communicate and collaborate to triumph over the perils standing in your path. Carefully observe the scenes shown on the board before acting. Complete your mission as quickly as possible. Know that you can attempt the mission as many times as necessary." ~ Bob Some mature themes and content. No spoilers from me! Ballroom Table 420. $3.00

Saturday

2p

5432 Dungeon Crawl Classics: Null Singularity, GM: Laura Rose Williams, 6 players, No XP/Average, Saturday 2p-7p. In Null Singularity by Steve Bean, players take on the role of Voidants, 70's-era space travelers who left the Earth to flee from the Null Singularity – an apocalyptic entity that is, at once, a massive black hole and a "long-dark night of the soul." For an unknown period of time – decades or even centuries – the Voidants of the Alektryon mission have played hide-and-seek with the Null Singularity across the cosmos, but today is the day it has caught up with them... or has it? Conference E Table 6. $3.00
