U-Con Policies Update
We have streamlined our policies to make it easier on you and on us. The updates are minor, but if you are curious, read on…
This year, we have eliminated our separate COVID policy and created a more general public health section in our conduct policy. It’s pretty simple in that we ask if you have a transmissible disease that you cancel your attendance and stay home. We also recognize that some may choose to wear a mask at the convention, to protect yourself and others, and we support your choice.
To make this choice easier for you, we have extended our refund deadline to a couple days before the con. It’s disappointing to miss the fun, however we believe it’s in your interest as well as the other attendees.
Additionally, we’ve also added a confidential method for reporting harassment or other violations at the convention. In addition to requesting a meeting with staff at our registration desk, you may submit an anonymous message via web form. Doing so may impair our investigation as it prevents us from asking follow-up questions, but we will investigate regardless. The link to the anonymous submission form can be found on the policies page of our website.
