Onsite Food Service and Coffee Truck

Between rounds of dice rolling, dungeon delving, and board-game strategizing, don’t forget to eat! U-Con’s onsite food service makes it easy to grab a bite without missing a moment of the fun. Skip the drive, sit at the nearby open tables, and enjoy convenient, reasonably-priced meals right here at the convention.  Proceeds from onsite food service support U-Con.

Food service is located outside the Vendor Hall, also known as Auditorium 2.  Hours of service are listed in our convention book and on our signage.  Here is a summary:

Beverage/Snacks service offers a variety of drinks and light snacks to keep you energized. Beverages include soft drinks, bottled water, Gatorade, juices, energy drinks, Starbucks Frappuccinos, and hot coffee or tea. For snacks, you’ll find chips, popcorn, cookies, candy bars, and fresh fruit options.

Breakfast service options include warm egg biscuits (optional with cheese and bacon), yogurt with granola, fruit cups, bagels with cream cheese, muffins, and whole fruit. A toaster is available for warming bagels.

Lunch service includes hearty and flexible options to fit your appetite. The menu includes classic favorites like hot dogs, burgers (including a Beyond Burger for vegetarians), chicken tenders, and pizza by the slice. You can also choose from fresh salads or wraps, such as a Chicken Caesar or a flavorful vegetarian wrap with grilled veggies and hummus. Sides like tater tots and nachos round out the choices.

Dinner at U-Con offers plenty of familiar favorites and comfort food. Choose from burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken tenders, or pizza, along with hearty sides like mac and cheese, tater tots, or nachos. Lighter options include salads and wraps.

U-Con’s onsite food service includes several options for attendees with dietary restrictions. Most sandwiches and wraps can be made with gluten-free buns or wraps for a small additional charge, and salads are served with cheese and dressing on the side for easier customization. Vegetarian choices include the Beyond Burger, the grilled vegetable wrap with hummus, cheese or veggie pizza slices, and a variety of salads and fruit options.

Finally, Bearclaw Coffee returns!  Their coffee truck will be onsite Friday-Sunday 8am-11am, outside the conference center doors. Bearclaw Coffee will also be selling food on Friday morning, as our venue will not be offering a catered breakfast line that morning.
