Charity Announcement: Food Gatherers

Each year, U-Con donates all proceeds from our Auction to a selected charity.  Last year we supported Trans Lifeline.

This year we have selected Food Gatherers.  Food Gatherers’ mission is to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.  This Ann Arbor-based charity rescues and distributes food, leads a hunger-relief network, develops innovative food programs, and advocates for systemic change to build an equitable food system.  If you are so inclined, use our link to make a direct donation to Food Gatherers. Every $1 donated provides 2 meals to our community members facing hunger.

The U-Con Auction takes place Saturday, November 15 in Auditorium 1. Seller drop-off starts at 11am, with the auction beginning at 1pm.  While sellers are welcome to donate a higher percentage, U-Con charges a minimum of $1.00 or 10% of the winning bid per item sold, whichever is higher.
