5 Board Game Events

Virtual U-Con is right around the corner. You can play games from home, and best of all, the convention is pay-what-you-want (note that some games require paid software). Tickets are available on our registration website, so come join in the fun.

Here are 5 board game events looking for players.

228 20th Annual Abstracts Tournament, GM: Clark Rodeffer, 24 players, No XP/Simple, Saturday 10a-2p. Come match wits with your opponents in various combinatorial strategy games. Most of these games can be learned and played to completion within 30 minutes. General Audience (13+) Free!

107 Sentinels of the Multiverse, GM: Evans Collins, 5 players, No XP/Average, Saturday 9a-11a. Sentinels of the Multiverse is a cooperative comic book card game in which up to 5 players take the role of a superhero trying to defeat a supervillain in a randomized environment. Family Friendly (7+) Free! – Requires a Steam account and the purchase of Tabletop Simulator ($20).

176 Tesla vs Edison: Powering Up!, GM: Dale Barnes, 6 players, No XP/Average, Saturday 3p-6p. A fast-playing, route building, economic and worker placement game focused on invention and industry in the 1880’s accomplishing the electrification of eastern US. Adults Only (18+) Free! – Requires a Steam account and the purchase of Tabletop Simulator ($20).

266 Trans America, GM: Meri Orosz, 5 players, No XP/Simple, Friday 8p-10p. Each player has a set of five cities strung across the U.S. that need to be connected by rail. Race to be the first to connect all five of your cities. General Audience (13+) Free! – Requires a Steam account and the purchase of Tabletop Simulator ($20).

188 Nations, GM: Edward Kabara, 3 players, No XP/Simple, Saturday 10p-12a. Build the best civilization in this quick dice pool building system. Rules taught and no experience needed. Family Friendly (7+) Free! – Requires free version of Tabletopia software.
