Why Gamemaster

U-Con runs because of the multitude of gamers who devote their time to lead games.  We appreciate your contributions to the convention.  We have a discounted and free badge available to gamemasters depending on how much programming they provide.  See Gamemaster Info for details.

Accommodations and Considerations for Submissions

Masking. U-Con does not require masks to participate in the event; however, if any gamemasters would like players to wear masks at their table, it must be noted in the event description as well as the comments to organizers.

Hard of Hearing. While noise is always an issue, it is especially troublesome for RPG gamemasters with hearing impairment. Gamemasters may request accommodation via the comments to event creators on the submission form. We will do our best to accommodate based on space limitations. We had a limited test last year and we received positive feedback.

Other Accommodation. Use the event submission form to request other accommodations related to the gaming space.

RPG Time Slot. The event scheduling team will stick closer to RPG slots to reduce overlaps between events. That means a 4 hour event requested to start in the middle of the slot will be slotted earlier or later than the requested time. This decision is based on feedback we received last year.

Sub-Tracks. If your event qualifies for a sub-track (e.g. OSR/NSR, Tekumel), let us know in your event comments. We make an effort to collocate related events.

Groups. For groups of gamemasters who submit events together, enter the name of your group on the event submission form. We attempt to schedule these events near each other and spread them out over the game slots. If you have a single event submitter, please contact us about adding an additional event “host” to each individual event – helpful for allowing GMs to see player lists and contact players ahead of time.

How to Submit

GMs and Event Organizers may submit events via TableTop.  Use Hosts -> Submissions for single events or Hosts -> Bulk Submit Events for large groups of events.
