Tracks and Groups at U-Con

U-Con runs through support from Gamemasters and our community to bring high-quality gaming experiences to our attendees. We’d like to highlight some of the larger groups who submitted a big set of high-quality events to U-Con 2025. We are grateful to welcome both new and returning groups to the Eagle Crest Convention Center.


Open Gaming: A flexible, drop‑in area gaming area with a well-stocked Games Library where attendees can play a wide variety of games throughout the convention.

Tekumel: Hosts role‑playing events set in the richly detailed Tékumel setting, inviting fans to immerse themselves in this classic, detailed world.

Puffing Billy®: Organized by the Train Gamers Association, this track features a series of train‑themed board game tournaments and events.

SHE – Super Heroines, Etc: A community-focused gaming track that highlights and supports all identies in gaming.

Pathfinder Society (PFS): A structured, living‑campaign track offering organized Pathfinder RPG scenarios, advancement, and community play as part of a worldwide fantasy roleplaying campaign.

D&D Adventurers League: The official Dungeons & Dragons organized-play system, offering standardized adventures and character progression and set in the Forgotten Realms.

Amorphous Blob Games: A long‑standing gaming group delivering fresh and creative board, card, and role‑playing events to attendees.

Matinee Adventures: This group aims to deliver consistently entertaining role‑playing sessions while offering an incredible variety of systems and scenarios.

Untold Stories Project: A storytelling-oriented group known for bringing attention to lesser-heard voices and inclusive gaming narratives. They also run actual-play streams and engage in community storytelling events.

We Hate Bards: A collective of dedicated GMs who run the types of games they themselves want to play with a focus on diverse, high-quality roleplaying experiences. Their events span horror, anime, comedy, traditional fantasy, and more.

Ypsilanti Gaming Group: A friendly, local strategy and board gaming meetup based in Ypsilanti that plays regularly and contributes local energy and outreach to the U‑Con community.

Oakland County Gamers: A local charity organization that focuses on utilizing board games to build connection who runs meetup and game events twice each month.
