Reminder: U-Con Hotel Block is Open!
U-Con opened up our hotel room block at our venue, the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest, for reservations several weeks ago. There are still many rooms available in the block, but the block is beginning to fill up – so we want to remind all of our attendees that, if you need a hotel room, and want to stay on-site, make sure to make your reservations soon! Last year, our block sold out several weeks prior to U-Con, and we can’t guarantee that there will still be available rooms when the convention dates draw near.

Dear UCON Convention Organizing Team,
I am writing to inquire about the room block for the upcoming convention this November. Unfortunately, I missed the initial announcement when the discounted rooms became available, and I see that the block is already completely sold out.
Given the high demand, is there any possibility that UCONN will be able to negotiate or secure additional rooms at the November Convention Room Rate?
If expanding the current block isn’t an option, I would be incredibly grateful if you could let me know of any other possibilities or alternative arrangements for securing a room with two queen-size beds at the discounted convention rate. Maybe if there is a cancellation made and a room becomes available?

Carlos, thank you for your message. We are working with the hotel regarding the room block and what is available, and we are putting together list of nearby recommended hotels. We hope to put out some information soon.
I need to know the same information. I never heard that the hotel block was open so I also missed getting a room.
